Participate in several events with your team |
Select Teams and give out team T-shirts – everyone participates in one of the following events.
- The Relays:
Baton Hand-off – foot race
Kayak/paddles - in ocean with marker to go around
Champagne Tray - Relay around Straw Bar
Soccer Ball - dribble to team mate and pass off
Sack races: kids
Boat building
- Precision Competition:
Golf - putting competition
Football Throw - Throw to target competition
- Triathlon:
Stop watch timing. Teams select their Triathlon participants (2 or 3)
Points are deducted from total possible for missing tires, not jumping all 20, bicycling inside of cones etc.
Run the tires
Jump Rope (20 times)
Bicycle (out of pool area around by the front office and back)
Put on swim fins and run a distance on land to the Coconut Throw
Throw four coconuts – measure the distance of throw
Run to pool get one large ball swim to waterfall and throw ball into the net, swim back get second ball and throw it into the net
Get out of pool and race to finish line – stop the clock
- Funnelators:
Three hold, one loads the cup and one pulls the sling – stop watch times this. Team can shoot as many water balloons as possible in a set amount of time. Longest distance wins.
- TUG of WAR:
Last event of the Olympics
- AWARDS Ceremony
Price for equipment rental and Old Bahama Bay referees $200 for groups of 35 and under; $350 for groups of over 35.
