The Marina at Old Bahama Bay, located at
West End, Grand Bahama Island, is the northern gateway to The Bahamas
and beyond. West End is just 55 nautical miles due east of Palm Beach, Florida.
An Official Bahamas Port of Entry, the Marina at Old Bahama Bay is a 72-slip facility with on-site customs and
immigration, fuel, water, ice,
electricity, cable & telephone access, showers, laundry facilities
and resort amenities & activities. Dockage is available for vessels
up to 120 feet. The main channel is 13' deep, while the inner basin measures
8' at low mean tide. The marina entry has lighted markers for night-navigation.
Set directly on the ocean, Old Bahama Bay offers
open, deluxe rooms, with an out-island ambiance, within a gated
a
community. Facilities include the Bonefish Folley's and Teaser's Tiki Bar, swimming pool, bicycles, small boat & sailfish
rentals, non-motorized water sports, snorkel areas, dive
and fishing charters.
Old Bahama Bay now offers known
routes direct to the marina entry, from several south Florida locations.
For the most pleasant voyages, travel
with a light southerly wind and seas of less than 3 feet. For additional
