The shallows of the Little
Bahama Bank, to the north and east of West End, provide over 80 square
miles of flats that will test any angler's fly-fishing skills.
The Little Bahama Bank is
excellent for snook, permit and bonefish - one of the most challenging
game fish. Reef fishing abounds just minutes from the Old Bahama Bay™
marina with numerous varieties of snapper, grouper and a multitude of
other reef dwelling species.
When it comes to deep-sea fishing,
Old Bahama Bay™ offers some of the world's finest marlin, tuna, dolphin
and wahoo fishing with its close proximity to the warm and nutrient waters
of the Gulf Stream. Rates and arrangements for boats, guides and equipment
are available from the Old Bahama Bay™ Activities Department.
